1 ~ First Record You Ever Bought?

‘Luv Dancin’ – Underground Solution, a classic from Strictly Rhythm from Phonica Record store.

2 ~ First DJ Gig and what made you start DJing?

I was introduced to House Music at a very early age around 8/9 years old. My two uncles Craig & Pete used to mix for hours on end on a Sunday afternoon when I would visit, they were part of the 1988/89 House music scene that took the UK by storm.

As I grew older I realised that I had a real passion for the sound and the way house music was constructed under its different sub-genres. By 15 I was buying my own music when I could afford it and was always grateful for the amount of knowledge my uncles had passed down. I had played all over the place at different houses between the ages of 16-20 purely for the love of it, but then wanted to push things further and really try and make something of it.

I played my first proper paid gig at the Rumpus Room – Rooftop bar at Sea Containers in London for JackYourBodyLondon, and things have really stepped up since then – London & Ibiza.

3 ~ What has been the highlight of your DJ / Production career so far?

Tough to put a single event for this one, I would honestly say my highlight has been meeting some incredible people & artists along the way so far.

4 ~ What challenges do you face being a DJ & Producer ?

Sleep patterns & staying healthy.

5 ~ What would you want to do if you wasn’t a DJ / Producer?

Would probably go behind the closed doors and become a Sound Engineer, or an expert is Mastering new releases.
